The Hazards of Playing Three Different Musical Instruments

The title says it all.

1. The Keyboard with Strings and Hammers

Well this one... is Schmetterling's first instrument.

Hazards :
All sorts of hand and wrist sprains.
Prone to little bits breaking off which results in a need for a $50 replacement.
Expensive lessons which burn a hole in your pocket.
The psychological trauma of having to see a (male) teacher with fluffy purple bedroom slippers every week.

2. The Bunch of Reeds

Schmetterling's second and favoritest instrument. :)
Causes severe shortness of breath and giddyness due to lack of oxygen to the brain.
Like the first, causes all sorts of hand and wrist sprains.
Also results in a very sore tongue indeed.
Also rather loud, thus Schmetterling is somewhat deaf now.

3. The Six-Stringed Block of Wood

Just recently picked up.

Results in blisters and calluses. ( I grieve for my soft smooth skin )
Also causes some damage to nails. Therefore Schmetterling does not paint her nails.
Lessons burn hole in pocket.

Crap entry. But bored.
